Why Apple Handles Refunds for App Store Purchases

If you purchased your RosiMosi subscription through the Apple App Store, refunds must be requested directly from Apple. We know that can feel confusing, so we wanted to explain how it works and help guide you through the process.

Apple App Store vs Apple Pay

It’s easy to confuse Apple App Store purchases with Apple Pay, but they are handled differently.

If the charge says “APPLE.COM/BILL”

Because Apple processed the payment and manages the billing, refund requests must be submitted directly through Apple.

If the charge says “ROSIMOSI”

This means the purchase was made on the RosiMosi website using Apple Pay as the payment method.

In this case, our payment processor handles the transaction and we can assist you directly. Just email us at help@rosimosi.com and we’ll take care of it.

Why Only Apple Can Refund Your Apple Subscription

When a subscription is purchased through the App Store on an iPhone, iPad, or Mac, the transaction is actually completed through Apple.

Apple manages the entire payment process. They collect the payment, handle billing, and then send us our portion after their commission.

Because of this structure:

  • We do not receive your payment directly

  • We do not have access to your credit card or billing details

  • We do not see your Apple ID or purchase information

  • We do not have the ability to reverse or refund the charge

For privacy and security reasons, only Apple can issue refunds for App Store purchases.

How to Request a Refund from Apple

If you believe you were charged in error or would like to request a refund, you can submit a request directly through Apple:

Go to: https://reportaproblem.apple.com

Then:

  1. Sign in with your Apple ID

  2. Locate the RosiMosi purchase

  3. Select Request a Refund

  4. Choose the reason for your request and submit it

Apple will review the request and notify you of their decision.

Refund approvals are determined entirely by Apple based on their policies and account history.

If Your Refund Request Is Denied

If Apple declines your refund request and you believe it was a mistake, you can contact Apple Support and ask them to review the situation again.

In some cases, Apple may reach out to us for clarification about the purchase. If they do, we’re happy to provide any information they need.
